335- The Hidden Cost Of AI Data Centers with Siquoyia Blue
Use Left/Right to seek, Home/End to jump to start or end. Hold shift to jump forward or backward.
We go from AI data centers and environmental strain to the everyday stress people feel when bills rise and guardrails fail. We also get practical about awareness, work survival, and entrepreneurship that does not depend on hustle-culture myths.
• data centers driving power demand and water worries
• why “guardrails” matter more than tech hype
• distrust in politics when money shapes outcomes
• defining “woke” as awareness and self-checking
• media distractions and performative representation
• Broadway and moviegoing as culture and value
• street smarts as practical intelligence for life
• workplace gossip and backstabbing warning signs
• entrepreneurship as a long game and owning your path
Really check out my song Whiskey.

Blunt Welcome And Big Stakes
SPEAKER_06Or caution in these streets, okay? So that's why I did that and stuff like that. So yeah, I mean that's that's that's a little snippet about me.
SPEAKER_04Wow, that's good uh you might get a reward for a very short introduction right there. I mean, some of you love to get a little bit more. No, no, that's fine. Uh that's up to you if you want to go more. But you had your welcome everyone to politically high tech with your host, Elias. I know some of you wondering if I'm dead or I was kidnapped in Epstein Island, whatever the heck, you know that's still a big thing, even though amateur accountability injustice ain't gonna be there. Well, I don't care if I have to shake down the whole damn system. I want them locked up, but that's to be sadly that's fantasy. It should not be fantasy. If you want to be a justice moral-based society, but you know, everything is about that green, everything's about that moonie and power and all that gobbledygook. I know I'm gonna sound like a far left to you, but there is a lot of truth to that, okay? There is so much truth to that. So I don't care where you label me as, there's just truth to that. I mean though politically, if you if you try to flow center left, center right, depending on what the heck is going on. I don't go too far of either side of the aisle because they both got their issues, in my opinion. But don't worry, it's not gonna be that the overview on the data centers. But I do side with I do side with those who are cautious and don't and financial concerns is already happening, stop if it's already happening, unless you be living on the rock, then I'm gonna beat you to death with some of the facts today, then, if you've been living on the rock, because you need to just get your head out of your ass and smell whatever filthy air because we have an air problem right now. And wake the hell up. Okay, that's what we're gonna do. It's a bit of a random intro, but you know what? I don't care because we this is what we're gonna do here. And I'm gonna welcome one of my favorite returning guests because she is way more interesting. She's not she's not a normal normal person. I am an intro odd. I am pro all that. I am I am not for the normal, I'm anti-normal. You know, I don't if you if you're a normal nurse, like I don't mean, I don't mean me, we need to compute everything and boring out of my show. I had those before. I used to be gracious. Since I'm in my you know later 30s now, I'm less gracious. I'm tired of the bull crap. That's a lot less boring tech guests because a lot of them are flaky, a lot of them are boring as hell. I don't care how successful you are, I don't care if you got 200 certifications. If you got no value to the podcast, you're done. You're done in my book. I don't care if you got 50 PhDs. You suck, you suck. That's it. They just they just they're just telling you you're great at this thing, allegedly. And that might be put to the test in real life because real life has ways of testing those credentials. You know, and this is why practical experience is more valuable. But hey, really? But you know, I'm welcome her back. Entrepreneur, technologist, and a singer. Come on. How many people know that a technologist is a singer, okay? And a damn good one too. Follow her on Spotify. I'll be cheap.
SPEAKER_00Yes, I gotta be more serious now.
SPEAKER_04And I'm sure she's gonna have more stuff cooking for her, y'all. I listen to it, it's good, it's different. And you know, if you're tired of the mainstream crap like the Taylor Swifts, who just threw up the Madison Square Garden, you know, just for her little petty wedding, okay? If you're tired, people stop giving them more money. So support her, all right? Support her. All right, so and then if you want to go to her first episode, when we first introduce Sequoia Blue, there'll be episode 314. We're not gonna go, we're not gonna rehash all that introduction and all that, but I will reference it from time to time if you want the extended version of that. But with that being
Meet Sequoia Blue And Her Work
SPEAKER_04said, let's welcome Sequoia Blue. And then if you want to go briefly or long-winded, it's all up to you. What do you want the listeners and the viewers to know about you?
SPEAKER_06Well, I just want people to know that I am a considered a neurodiverse person because I'm just I don't follow the rules. I am abnormal as that's all I gotta say. My music's abnormal, the way I approach technology is abnormal, it's just different. And I think that that's what we need sometime in the world, and and that's why I'm gonna continue to do the the music the way I want and have that confidence. And then also just with the card game, too, is that you also have a dating card game, is that I that was different too because I'm kind of punching you in the gut. But when you're dating, that's what it's about. You have to know who the heck you with because it's life or death in these streets, okay? So that's why I did that and stuff like that. So yeah, that's that's that's a little snippet about me.
SPEAKER_04Well, that's good uh you might get a reward for a very short introduction right there. I mean, some of you love to get later. That's fine. Uh that's something if you want to go more, but you're at your episode, so that one I'm like, okay, I think sure is better here. That's so let's see, where are
Data Centers And Dirty Water Fears
SPEAKER_04we gonna start? If I had to die, you know, I think we could start off with the data centers because that's been going on. Some states already had the environmental impact. I already said a little briefly intro, you know, the the you know, actually before the recording, let me just correct myself, there that you know that the fresh water has been consumed, and then when people turn on their faucets, you see that orangey brown water coming out, and yeah, and doesn't take a scientist to figure this out. If you drink and haven't lingered your skin for too long, you're gonna get sick.
SPEAKER_06I mean, dude, look at the Michigan water because Michigan, that's what I was trying to say earlier. Michigan had a long time because stuff was going on. I I don't remember what how I think it was like dumping going on or something like that prior to the whole AI thing and just so that still hasn't been fixed, and then their water's still messed up and their electricity bill is going up, and it's like, why the heck are our bills uh why are bills going up when we're just a normal people? We just working a nine to five. You need to send the bills to the to the companies, you know. It it doesn't make any sense because they said that here in Vegas where I'm at, like they're building one in Sparks, and they tried to even hire me here to do the AWS uh data center. I'm like, man, I ain't going those Sparks, that's boring, I'm gonna live here. But the whole thing is, I'm like, come on, bruh. Like, we don't have time to pay more bills. Already, everything's already high enough, and you want to sit here and these things don't even have to happen. Everything may, by the way, so they could do it a different way if they want to, but they don't want to listen to people that have different ways to do things. They just want to say, okay, this way we're gonna do it. They're not gonna listen to Todd over there. It's like, yo, we can save money this way and do it and do things this way or that way. They don't want to do that. So it they're rushing and they're going too fast, and people are suffering, and I feel I feel bad about that.
SPEAKER_04No, no, absolutely. And these are all these are facts. I mean, these are provable. You could look at multiple examples here. I was gonna point the main two because one is more of a political. I mean, they both are kind of preventative. I say New York's more like a soft preventative, they're just slowing down the advancement of it. And then the one in Utah is a big halt because Kevin O'Leary, known for Shark Tank, you know, so-called the wonderful. He, you know, he says and all that, they're all getting paid by the Chinese Communist Party. That's what he said. No, they're not.
SPEAKER_06I'm gonna have several seats. I mean, this is wonderful. I, you know, you can you can congratulate his genius on how he where he got through and his success, but not touching grass. He's not down to earth. He doesn't, he's all the way up above the sky, he doesn't know what's going on. And, you know, he tells people, hey, just don't buy any coffee, and then you'll be you'll be well off, you'll be successful. No, it's not about coffee, my dude. I cannot buy coffee if somebody's struggling, struggling. But he's just not, like I said, he's not touching the grass. He doesn't know what's going on. And sometimes I think he's just saying stuff just to say it, you know. He's not somebody I would want to invest in my company.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, no, and there's people that have told him off and oh, he got real nasty. I think with one of them is Shartag. I remember one episode, I think one said, Oh, I don't respect you and all that, and of course I got bleed. He said, Fuck you. Oh, dang. And I had to laugh because this is the only time I'm kind of gonna side with him because I get what the protest was coming from, but I think he just did it the wrong place in the wrong time. If you do that like in Congress and all of that, uh you know, among the government holes, fine. But you do it, you did it on Shark Tango, you're supposed to be selling your product. That's why I criticized. Oh, okay.
SPEAKER_06Well, yeah, that's the criticism I have to have. That part.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, but I get his feeling and sentiment. I just think he just did it in the wrong place at the wrong time. That's just my that's just my overfuck you at all. No, you don't do that.
SPEAKER_01He could just say I'm out.
SPEAKER_04That's it. He could have just shut it down. But yeah, but obviously, the pro the one on that's on the product key, he of course kept those in his feelings. He got butthurt by that. Yes, I I I ask only things to do there with the governments and all that. If you want cameras, fine. I just wouldn't watch you as much unless it's very important. Like the but thing is this AI data center thing, it this is a worthy protest. No offense, even more worthy than even this this Trump guy that has caused a lot of this trumpflation. He's the only trumflation. This is trunflation we're suffering right now, okay? And you're talking about lowering grocery prices.
SPEAKER_02Where that at? Where is it? I'm paying so much. I mean, he that's what he said. He said a lot of things.
SPEAKER_06He's following it, so and he's fine. Nothing. And AI is not even strong enough to do everything yet, to to even take over all the engineers. It's not even there yet. So you're doing this for another reason. Maybe some of it's for AI, but you're doing it just so you can you got something going on now. I don't know if it's trying to make more money or or it could be some other stuff, and you know, because uh they're in the cabal, you know, I call it a cabal. You know, they they're going somewhere in a little like this. So let's do next. But like that's what they're doing. It's a cabal. So I do believe it. But at the end of the day, this is there needs to be guardrails. And so, and since it's Project 2025, they don't have to do that because everybody's working together in the cabal. Everybody's together on the island and working together. So we don't have anything. If people can stop selling their soul, it'd be great. We have less people selling their soul, we can get somewhere. And it's people just do stuff for money, it's not real. Money's not even freaking real. Look at the read the book of what's it Jekyll and how what's the island, uh, the book Jekyll Island or something like that. I forgot what it's called, but there's a book based on how how money was started and stuff, and how JP Morgan started the money system, and and how we're following this fake money, and it's not backed by nothing, it's not real. We just like, oh, we got to. Like, if everybody said no, we ain't doing it, partner. It would not it would everything would change, but people I know I'm going off topic, but I'm just saying, if people would do that, all this data center stuff, all this stuff, everything would change overnight. We wouldn't have all this suffering and stuff, because I mean, it is they're taking away the Medicaid, all the stuff they've taken away from people that don't have a lot are gonna are dying and stuff like that. And it's just not fair because these I mean you work hard, you know, and you're scared to get old now because now you don't know. I mean, uh you don't know if it's gonna get SSI, you don't you just don't know. That's why I said I won't have kids because I don't know if they're gonna have a future, you know. So I feel like the 1990s and early 2000s, they had I'm not I they didn't have all the technology we have, but they had a better time, I feel, because they didn't have to worry. If they worked at JP Morgan, they knew they was gonna retire and be Gucci. If they work, if they work at the job, they make their six figures or whatever they want to make. That's not how it is now. You can make six figures and you don't even know if you're gonna have a retirement amount or if you're gonna be able to do anything. So, and it's just disappointing, I think, because I think we I just think if we all can work together and stop selling our souls, start trying to be a competition, we can end this end this crap. But I guess it won't be in my lifetime.
SPEAKER_04Well, you may sign off the tangent, but you're onto something. Um emotional No, it's fine. No, it's fine. That's why I have you here because you you make it interesting, you make it very interesting. Uh if it was like a normal rehearsed podcast, I would have I would have been suffering a race. But um, you're right. A 401k is rarely offered, and not all companies are even offering that. And you already said like the six figures, yeah. Even them, they're they don't know if they can even retire. They might have to work till 78, and God knows what the human life expectancy going on, maybe to 200 years old. Oh, that's suffering. But you know, may love you maybe move, maybe uh work like a mummy or something. But yeah, yeah. Retirement used to be almost guaranteed. A lot of companies offered it, but now it's just yeah, now it's just pleasing the uh the board, the stock owners, and that's what that's all about. Screw the customers, screw the person. So what you're saying is not it's not off. It's you know, if people, you know, if you got if you touch grass and get your head out of your ass, you will know what Skoya's talking about. She's not she's definitely not crazy. And then just get this to get back to yeah, so it the future is uncertain, and uh me, I'm not gonna bring a little person to the world just to have them suffer. Unless I move with the things that I know that things will be different, but you know, yeah, they don't need to know it might be like Abraham, probably have a kid.
Money Power And A Future Nobody Trusts
SPEAKER_04Yeah, the biblical reference right there, but you know, yeah. So yeah, the data centers are a huge problem. Not just, you know, and Trey's talk about the fine, she she referred to the environmental impacts and the financial impacts. This is the only time I have to give Hokel some credit. She's in a step in the right direction that she put on managing managing that. But if she was to just let them do whatever they forget, we would suck so much power that I think we would have constant blackouts, and of course, the water, the that water will be ultra-contaminated. I think all rivers will look like the Hudson River. Disgusting. It's disgusting. Okay, the Hudson River is disgusting. You don't want to be compared to Hudson River, you want to be compared to the Japan and even Puerto Rico, but not to New York. That's not a compliment. Unless you're smoking the good stuff, then you're thinking the opposite. But I know you're on drugs. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you say the Hudson River is glorious, I say you're on drugs, my friend. That is cope to the tenth power. I know you're crazy.
SPEAKER_06Ignorance is bliss when you have when you're high all the time, you know. Sometimes ignorance is bliss in general, because if you don't know nothing, then I mean you kind of just walk around. You don't have to feel nothing, and you know, I it's definitely bliss, man. Just walk around like a bubble head. You don't have to know anything. It feels great. I mean, I just can't get that way.
SPEAKER_04You know, you're so right, but that line is so triggering to me. You're so right. But that just the ignorance. Maybe, maybe I wish I was dumb at that point.
SPEAKER_02Maybe I won't be AI said to good, whatever. Oh, what? Brown water tastes delicious. I don't know. Maybe I'll live.
SPEAKER_04No, too bad I'm not a Pollyanna, too bad I'm not an idiot. Too
What Woke Actually Means
SPEAKER_04bad I see what's going on, too. So add some curse to be so aware.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, being so aware. You know, that's what woke really means. People try to say woke, trying to change what woke is. No, it's about being aware. Like you know what's going on. You can read body language, you can that's what a woke means is someone that's aware of everything that's going on around them, within themselves. They'd be like, they know when they messing up, they can go within themselves and say, Oh, I'm messing up right here. Like, you know, it's not saying you don't have to go to somebody, but I'm just saying, like, you can catch game first and then tell her what you call game on. If you I agree with you, she'll be like, Oh, you on point here, you know, and that's to me, that's what woke me. So all these people that's listening, stop calling woke something else. Don't watch a Disney movie and say, Oh, it's woke because it's lightly running. That's not what woke me. Sorry.
SPEAKER_04Oh my goodness. You just triggered something in me. Disney Plus is getting a backlash and putting a new, I think a new stereotypical black heroic captain do rag. I was allowed to bring that up, but you just see this is why I have stayed away from a good chunk of Disney. I said, uh Disney, just go back to the back. You already had some, you know, some diverse representation, which I'm for. Make sure it's organic, make sure the storytelling is rich. Don't just do see, this is a what you compare it to is political woke, which is the bullshit woke, with virtual signaling garbage, just like the example. And I think sneakerella too is another garbage that Disney promoted. That's a and black people who has to wear do rags just care about sneakers. That's just not super typical. That's pretty racist. I mean, that's bad.
SPEAKER_06It's really stupid, and that's why that's his name. What's the guy that did centers? Ryan, oh, Ryan Kugler. He, you know, severed ties with Disney
Disney Backlash And Performative Representation
SPEAKER_06because he couldn't do stories the way he won. Now he's going to Netflix, and that's because a lot of times you go to people and you have a plan for something, and they're like, no, let's do this. And they'll tell you what you're gonna do. And if you don't do it, then you can't do it. And and and it's like that, not just with Disney, but it's a it's a big problem. And it's like, that's not let's not do that. And it's really that like I said, let's go back to the cabal. They're all working together because they wanna bring down certain Brack and Brown sorry. So it they want to impr make it impressionable. So if they're gonna do Captain Durag, they want you to they're gonna probably make it a little ghetto, you know, because they want they want you to have that mindset, that energy. And it's not I mean, I say stuff can't be funny and stuff make things funny, but they they didn't have to call it Captain Durag.
SPEAKER_04So it's the true walk who really followed Ryan Kugler. He's a great director. He's he really is. I like his work. I mean, he did Rakanda great, and um, he also did um what's the movie? Oh Sinners. Love that film. Yeah. I'm a big horror fan.
SPEAKER_06I don't know if I told you, but I love horror. I don't know what it is. I like horrors and thrillers. So if I'm stressed out, I go watch a horror and they cause me down. It's weird. But Sinners, man, that was one of the best movies I've ever seen in my life. It was so good to me.
SPEAKER_04And that's the last time I went to movie theaters just to watch Sinners, because a lot of the stuff is just junk. Yeah, junk. I'm very picky. So I'm gonna go see something. Ask me something that I know I'm going to enjoy. And this is I'm gonna nerd out just for three seconds. The only time I'm winning, and this is just me just fulfilling my little Peter Panzer, whatever the hell you want to call it. I don't care. I'm gonna enjoy it anyways, and I'm gonna make sure I drag a freaking young person with me. Nah, I don't do that. But um, you know, a lot of a lot of a lot of the fan members here, we kind of like kids when we want to, like with the Mario movie, the slider movies. That's how I know they're gonna do great. But like the other bull crap, I think what cocaine bear, some stupid stuff like this. I'm not watching anymore.
SPEAKER_06I watched cocaine bear, but it was on TV. I didn't go to movies to see it. I just watched it on TV. There you go. You just watched the scar with it. And there's a few movies that came out, I wouldn't go see the movies. Like I said I wouldn't mind seeing it once it gets to the TV, but I'm not gonna spend money. Like the last one I really want to go spend money on was Is Is Got Is, which was uh a really interesting movie with uh few actresses I like in there. And I said I would like to see that, but I said, you know, I'm just waiting for it for it to come on TV. But also I was kind of scared going to the movies.
SPEAKER_07I'd be thinking somebody's gonna pull out something. I don't know what's going on. I'm just scared sometimes. Like, I'd rather just watch it at home where it's safe.
SPEAKER_04No, I I got you. I mean, yeah, I should be the one that's really afraid because I think certain crimes went up in New York. So yeah, I'm so crazy to go to the theater about uh I I I but I'll say I'll just say this. You know,
Movies Safety Fears And Theater Vibes
SPEAKER_04it just has to be worth my time. That's my that's my biggest fear. It's a waste of time.
SPEAKER_06And that's a thing, yeah. And I like going, I love going to smoothies and having a wine and some popcorn and having that feeling, that vibe. There's something about it, but yeah.
SPEAKER_04There's a theater in New York that actually offers that stuff as a bar and everything. All that's pretty cool. That's why I watched center. So it's like that's even an extra experience. Okay, so I went to bougie theaters, even though they have doctors and chips and all that, you know, all that peasant stuff. Yeah, so I'm like a little bougie. I'm like, I gotta have my bougie days to say, I don't want to deal with that peasant stuff. Give me my wine, give me my salad, you know, and have the peasants give me food while watching the theater. Yeah, they have the movie theater workers give me the food. Yeah, so it's I will say trial.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that yeah, I'm gonna come, I'm gonna come to New York one of these days. Yeah.
SPEAKER_04No, I definitely gotta go I definitely gotta go back to fakes. I had such a great time there. I I've been there once. I actually loved it there. I I you know, so I I don't have to be constrained and freaking watching like babysitter, you know. I don't have to be like a freaking babysitter and freaking stop fighting scared off half of his listeners. I'm from New I'm from New York, so I know I know game. I don't scan game. No new one on their eye. Never got used to the well, the naked women advertisers. Oh wow, this is really sensitive. New York would never do that. It's too con that's when New York is conservative, in quotes. Um
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I was born in Middletown, Connecticut, so I go I used to go to Connecticut all the time before my grandma left and stuff. And Connecticut to me was just boring and depressing. It just it it just it just wasn't it. I didn't like it. I would never live there. I think that it's nice, but I just would never live in Connecticut.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I've been I've been to Connecticut myself, and I'll have to agree that to me it's a great place to visit. Tourism is supposed to do, but not live there. Ah
Broadway Respect Ticket Costs And Picks
SPEAKER_04yeah, that's out of it. That's out of the question for me. I I agree. And yeah, even though Connecticut is shockingly more liberal, I thought, but they're like classic liberal. They're not, I don't see it as progressive liberal. So they're they have to have that classic liberal.
SPEAKER_06But you know, it's not a good vibe to me.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it yeah, it's like okay, we're blue, but you're like old school, we're what's cool 1960s.
SPEAKER_03Yeah, yeah, they all great Gatsby 1920-S with the fancies. Yeah, that's a great gas, I'm a fan of it.
SPEAKER_06Don't know why. I read the book two times. I watched the movie with Lee and Article. I don't know why I love the Great, but I think they're coming out with a new Great Gatsby play in New York. That's that's why you know I like about New York. You guys got so many great plays from just great actors, and I'm just like, they don't come here. So it just they should. I mean, there's potential, they don't travel here because when I look it up like the last one with uh Denzel and what's his name? I forgot his name, but I was like, man, I want to see Othello. I think it was Othello or something like that. And they don't they wasn't coming here. I was like, yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, nah, yeah, we got that. We got the monopoly on Broadway.
SPEAKER_06That's what's gonna be. Yeah, I was like, man, my dream is to be theaters. I would love to be in a Broadway before I like a Broadway in New York before I die. Like, I was that's one of my bucket lists.
SPEAKER_04It's the beam in a broadway. I've been to at least three Broadways. I should have done six by now, but I always get distracted. Well crap. I've been to, I've been to, well, one as a kid, Lion King. I would say that's the great intro to Lion King. Highly recommend. Um, and it's still showing and it's still there because it's a foolproof great Broadway experience. And my personal favorite, um, what's this one? Oh Wicked. Great play, my friend.
SPEAKER_06Oh, Wicked. Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. I saw the movie with Cynthia.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_06No, it was good. You know, I mean, yeah, that's what I want to do. And I want to act in one. I want to act in one before I leave too, because I would like to act in before I leave there. It could just be one. But the problem is I don't live there. So a lot of auditions and stuff is like, you know, you, you know, flying back and forth, and it's just oh no, yeah, that's too costly, too tiring, too all of that.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, it's me.
SPEAKER_06And I don't want to be in an ongoing Broadway anyway, because it's a lot of work doing stage plays more in the movie. I just want time.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_04No, I respect this. Is a thing, and this is Hollywood people can get pissed off. Fuck off. I don't care how you feel. I respect the Broadway performer much more than the Hollywood actor. You got your breaks, you got your edits saving your ass. Bro, you gotta perform live, especially on a Saturday, they have to perform twice. And trust all that dancing and movement and memorizing lines, y'all don't gotta tell. And then you know, real time, you gotta act live. The camera's not gonna save you, even some of that stage stuff's not gonna save you. If you fumble, and some are very good at covering up their fumble, then they'll they'll be a little later. Oh, yeah, I actually did kind of fumble there. I said, Wow, great cover. And I've seen enough play. Well, I've seen three Broadways and off-Broadway, forget it. I believe that'll be that'll add a total of like 15 because off Broadway is much cheaper.
SPEAKER_06Yes, it is, because I look at those tickets and I don't like I don't know how the stadiums are, but I can't be up high up and looking down because I feel like I'm gonna die. So I have to be even leveled. I have to be even leveled. And so that means guess what? I gotta pay more cheese. And so that's the problem. It depends on how the theater is.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, the the average price for those, they're definitely a good they're gonna be like over $200 for sure. Yeah, yeah. That doesn't include food. I don't include anything. That's included. That's just only the freaking cheese and no wine.
SPEAKER_06And that's the thing, that's what I would like.
SPEAKER_04You know, the bougie, the bougie, broad, the bougie, the oh my god, not mix up, but it's the bougie movie experience is much cheaper than that. I only end up spending 70 with the food, the theater, and all of that stuff. Compared to Broadway. Broadway just 200 just for the show and just the just the front the front-ish seat. I said the fifth row for what was the most controversial one? Oh, the Book of Mormon. Hilarious. You cannot, you if you're too sensitive, don't bother watching it. It is it's really out there. It's it's beyond our rate of humor, it's hot sex shows, even borderline, um, you know, anti-gother jokes. Yeah, it's one, it's one of those. It's it's very it's very out there on the Book of Mormon. Uh I watched it. I I actually I actually um enjoyed it. And the Mormons look very dumb, which I actually enjoy that part. Um you know, and and yeah, it it's it's such a great play, but it's very risque. It's very risky. You can't, it's not for the faint of far. If you get easily offended, don't watch the book of watch wicked if you want. Wicked addresses, you know, like prejudice, you know, the second classes if you pay attention carefully and all that, you know, it addresses that stuff. But if you want a more normal Bro experience, go to the Lion King, see the Wicked, you know, things like that. And don't go to ones that are limited time because they're they're overhyped, they ain't all that. But that's just my opinion. But I it's it's great, it's great stuff. I mean, I think I'm geeking out about Broadway. You know, I didn't I didn't tend for this, but hey, I don't gotta buy. This is your unofficior uh tour guide episode right here.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, they gave you gave people some info because some people I'm telling you, when Othello came out, people was talking about Broadway everywhere. So you gave people some tips.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, man. Trust me, foreigners will come to you, see people you've never seen before. They said, What's this person from Nepal through the poor country? Well, that person can be royalty, so they can afford it. Um, you know, they're immigrant. It's a legitimate global um city, you know. Yeah, it's not an exaggeration, and it really never sleeps. 2, 3 a.m. Lights, lights are out. You know, lights are still there, there's still people around. I'll say a little crazier, but you know, people still out there.
SPEAKER_06Oh, gosh, see, I can look. I'm good. I'm back safe at nine o'clock. I'm old. But I'll be out there, you know, I'll go to the RB.
SPEAKER_03I was like 9, 10, the latest. Yeah, you if you if you want to deal with nightlife, yeah, that's a good that's a good thing.
SPEAKER_06I don't mind like a jazz bar or something like that. Like a I don't think I want to be in a club jumping on me and grab my butt. I just want to like go to a nice jazz lounge and chill or some RB or you know, just a chill type place where I can sit down. I don't want to be standing up all night. I want to sit down, have a little meal, dance a little bit, you know.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, yeah. Yeah, New York definitely has that kind of stuff. And I'm definitely I, you know, I'm digging that more and more because you know, I'm getting a little oldish too, you know.
SPEAKER_03I'm entering closer to closer.
SPEAKER_06But you know what? I don't want to be younger because I don't know. It's not working. Everybody might be like, I want to be young again, I want to start over. But you can start over and things can still go wrong in a different way. I don't think there's gonna ever be this line. So you can go back to 20 right now or still F something up because there's no perfect bad way.
SPEAKER_04You're right. There's no perfect moment. You just gotta start. Exactly. And that's what helped me back to. So I gotta wait for this time, this time. No, I I made that same mistake too. So I second uh what Sakura is saying. I I second that because I used to say, Oh, I gotta wait, I should wait to do this and then no, no, you you waste so much time and you won't even believe. Is it about to go back to that? Why didn't I start this sooner? That's what you asked me.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, so yeah, because nothing's every that you you make up your own reality, really. I mean, and and if you somebody else don't agree with you, then I will life.
SPEAKER_04Um exactly, exactly. So
New York Travel Rules And Airbnb Crackdown
SPEAKER_04if you want some Broadway info, I can even give you some links on that right now, especially um a ticket development fund. Oh, yeah, get some discount tickets or some good Broadway tickets.
SPEAKER_06Send me something too, guys.
SPEAKER_04I will share that link. We come to New York, get some discount. Listeners and viewers this episode, there you go. I got something right there. I remember and it's from a former co-worker.
SPEAKER_06Some people pay for those too, those guys.
SPEAKER_04No, no, no, some I've seen the tickets, and some have some decent seating. I mean, it's some a little bit the back, and if you're really lucky, you go to a front, probably pay like half off. Maybe that's like 70 to 100 dollars, depending. I was like, that's not bad. You can save yourself a nice meal with that. Um ticket development fund. Um, I will be sharing that um as well. Yeah, that you're not gonna share that like, you know, I might as well just do that. I'm gonna share that.
SPEAKER_06Hook us up. Yeah, hotels in the area, you know, that people because people don't know where to stay, you know, because I ain't trying to drive out there really. So I need to be close to where.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, no, no, no, yeah, no. Especially, especially, especially lower the lower reach of Manhattan. And what I mean by that is 96th Street or lower. Don't don't use a car. Just don't. Just use your training. No, I'm gonna have a no Uber either. You're a fool to do that. Just use the public transit and no taxi. You know, none of that. No, I don't recommend that either. Unless you want to stay stuck in traffic and just yell and get angry, go right ahead.
SPEAKER_06And just like if you got somebody, if you got somebody that can't walk a lot, like my folk, my mom, I I would have to take a taxi because she can't be publicly and stuff, so I would have to take a taxi. Yeah, yeah, unless I'm just like next door to everything. That's why I said I want to stay somewhere that's right next to a cool restaurant, like somewhere a hotel that's right next to everything, or Airbnb. It doesn't have to be a hotel. That's that's something that they're better in New York.
SPEAKER_04You know, I was gonna say they're happy you mentioned that. Yeah, it's right because New York has been a crackdown on that, and they they they they practically legalized from Airbnb, which I'm I'm not happy about because you know, what if, you know, a bunch of people who are friends, you know, they chip and they share that expensive ass New York pricing, all right? I mean, yeah, I mean it's you know, some of it had good spots, you know. I I know for some of you, Times Square is overrated, especially if you're a native New Yorker, I agree it is. But you know, for someone who don't have the experience, you know, let's find ways to do that. And trust me, Trump scared a lot of them uh the immigrants away. Trust me, it's been walking time square. He scared a lot of migrants away. I feel I see the difference because I thought about that, you know. Yeah, I've worked by that area, so I, you know, I it's easy for me to walk through.
Immigration ICE Errors And Rage Media
SPEAKER_04I said, wow, I see Trump has really scared a lot of people away. They make this wooden which I disagree with because a lot of them were trying to do the the right thing. I know I'm gonna sound a little love to the immigration. They look, I only agree with the Republicans if they are a violent migrant and you know they they did bad things fine. Get rid of those people, but there's a lot of them trying to find work, they try to find community, they're trying to find you know, those two ones are getting screwed by ice, and you're talking about the killing and all of that. Sadly, some of them weren't even the wrong targets and they're getting killed by ice. I mean, this that's bad man and that's bad ice management. That's very bad ice manager.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, they could have been better than that.
SPEAKER_04It's getting worse, even better. It's getting even worse.
SPEAKER_06So uh Yeah, I was sad about one guy that got killed in his car. He was the wrong and mixed him up with somebody else, and they was and he got shot in the head, and he's like, you know, you know, like sorry, and it's like he had a whole family, and he they mixed him up with someone else. I felt so sad.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, as sorry could resurrect the man, that would be very nice, but it doesn't.
SPEAKER_06No. Like, I'm like, y'all need I said we need to change this whole. I said that's what makes you want to just like man, that's when you want the ignorance.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, ignorance of bliss people, ignorance of bliss.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, this is even if I don't even if you don't watch the news, you're still you get I mean, for me, I read, so I might see an article on read it. So it's just weird. I don't know.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, that's what I think social media as well. That's another thing. Yeah, if TV media is not getting you down, social media will help you out with that as well. Rage big content and all of that. Oh, this black that's black person killed by the white person, or the or this Latino got thrown overboard because you know he spoke that broken English, you know. Anything that's a rage baby by someone.
SPEAKER_02That's why you have to I need that you that man, help me, Jew. I don't speak English, help me.
SPEAKER_04No, I try not to make fun, but you know, some do talk like that, and sadly, violence has happened. Um that stop funerals, so what bad thing? Hold on, hold on.
SPEAKER_06I mean, street starts, street
Street Smarts And Reading People
SPEAKER_06smarts is so important. I think that people have to understand how to have the street smarts because books smart, okay, but you need street smarts, three smarts smarts, because you can peep game, you know. I mean, in my it when I was younger in high school and in early 20s, I used to not try to follow my intuition. I'd be like, no, I'm tripping. But as soon as something bad would happen or something like that, I realize that okay, let me follow it. If this person don't seem right, don't hang out with them. I mean, some you gotta, but you gotta be able to read the person. That's the thing. Everybody can't read people or feel things. So it's a it's you're right.
SPEAKER_04That's how I developed. You're right. That's how I started developing more as a teenager and as a young little the street smarts, and if for those of you that want the proper capital, practical intelligence, real life intelligence, social intelligence, you know, to read a person, all their intent, even they sing the nicest things, but your but your gut is saying this person is bad, and then certain nonverbal cues is just showing that because he has a foot facing one way, probably wants to do something. He or she wants to do something shady or harmful. Yeah, you have to, you know, you have to read people. Yeah, book book smarts. It's good if you want to sound. I mean, I don't want to discount book smarts because it it is good. It's good for literature and things like that, and read you know, articles, and but what but you know, but they say with people with book smarts, it gets so boring because I think all that book does go to their brains and it starts sounding robotic and dull and reading different types of books, you know.
SPEAKER_06Like you have to be like, oh, don't read fiction. No, there's some smart fictional books that be teaching you game. Like these some of these smart authors are like Eric Drum Dickey and this new author I just started reading. I can't even verb. There are some smart authors, they teach you stuff, and they'll and these are some of these people are college professors, and then some are just people that just seen different things. So I think it's okay to read some fiction. It's it's still you're still learning something.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, it's yeah, exactly. Um, you know, just give I'll just say, look, pursue your interests. That that's the best idea for even in politics.
Pick Your Issues Free Speech And Distrust
SPEAKER_04Look, if you're not gonna care about every issue, fine. Just care about the issues that that you're passionate about. If it's about, you know, woman reproductive woman's reproductive rights, if it's gun rights, it's you know, if it's freedom of speech, to me, that's my big issue. And I hate both parties failed on that, so I don't trust both parties on that. You know, and that's why I'm an eye today, because I I don't mind bashing anyone who I think is wrong, and I give credit when I think it's right. There's times I praise Donald Trump, I think he did the right thing, but then when he flip files, uh you guys, uh sure though. But yeah, there's a few things I you know. Look, I don't get me wrong, I think the the border thing was out of control, but this is when I say he overcorrected.
SPEAKER_06He overcorrected the issue to the point that I mean I just wish I would I would rather have any Republican in there besides this guy. I'm sorry. I'd rather have Bush back with me. I just wish I'd be able to do that. No, I agree. He's a character.
SPEAKER_01Yeah.
SPEAKER_06He's just all over the place, and it's just it's it's really messing up everything right now. People lost their jobs, struggling, losing their houses for no reason. And I think that it wouldn't have happened if he wasn't there. People was to keep up with these diseases and stuff. Now people have
Long COVID And System Failure
SPEAKER_06to worry about being sick. We already got long COVID. If you don't know long covet, Google that. They are they're about they're starting trials now. I'm gonna say that too. I'm gonna I'm gonna talk about this on my podcast too. But they're starting trials now where you can go and and they're trying to see if they can help people long COVID. 22, 23, young people can't get out the bed because they caught COVID and it messed up their body. So, and I have like bad fatigue from it. I used to be, even I know I'm getting older, but still, if I if COVID never came, like I wouldn't I it's it's like I'm fighting now to keep energy. So, but that's long COVID, and these are the things people are dealing with for years, six years later, you know, and they just now open some trials now, some trial clinics. See, people probably gotta Google that. But if you want to go in the trial clinic, they have it now to get some help. Because people can't move, they can't walk anymore, they can't think anymore. But these are see, and these are the things that you know.
SPEAKER_04This is why I'm very comfortable saying hit first term. It is so much worse. It's it really is. And I mean, I can subjectively say I am as anti-Trump as anybody. I don't care. You even you can even say I have Trump derangement said, no, I'm about reality. He's messing up a heck of a lot. Before it was the first time, I gave him some benefit of the doubt. We shouldn't have half the time. But but you know, it was just like, okay, let's just give him a give him a shot. Let's let's see, let's see, let's see. But there's overwhelming evidence that he sucks. Even though I there was a part of me saying, yeah, you know, he might just suck and make things worse. I said, yeah. Look, I never wanted to give him a cat.
SPEAKER_02I mean, look, I get it. He's the reality star. I don't think.
SPEAKER_06Where's Mitt? Bring him back, please. Thank you. Then, so we can, I mean, somebody else other than him.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, he's a lot more rational compared.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I mean, uh I just need somebody level headed, and that's that's the the bottom line.
SPEAKER_04No, you're right. Yeah, I mean, with Biden, it was too damn
Dark Money Healthcare And School Choice
SPEAKER_04slow, and I was too damn quick with Trump. There's no balance. There's no balance. And I, you know, I have my personal.
SPEAKER_06Here's the thing, no one's whatever whoever comes in, no one's gonna save you regardless. Yeah. Because they're all the the millionaires are who's in charge. That's our documentary on Hulu a long time ago. Look up the Koch brothers, they're in charge of the world, really, because they they pay for everything to get done. The Koch brothers are the ones the the billionaires are the ones running freaking world. Now, you you know, I mean that's the that's the thing.
SPEAKER_04Um Yeah, that's why we got overturned and things like that, because the money does run politics, and this is why I gotta praise the progressives. They're trying to tackle this issue. This dark money, this you know, money over influenced politics. You know, I don't agree with progressives on everything, but this is one of the issues that in healthcare is the ones that I almost wholeheartedly decide what the progressives are. Because the healthcare system sucks. Let's be rich, let's be real. Even Republicans that get their head out of their asses, they will agree. Actually, a lot of voters do agree, like 70% will even want change in healthcare, and some will agree even to the socialized care if you check it carefully. Because the privatized system even Obamacare, you know, Obama did some good, but this is not one, this is not it. This Obamacare even messed us something so I was I was actually against Obama and um strongly, and I was like, uh, don't it's good, I know it's gonna pass through because it had enough Republican support. I was like, yeah, this this bullshit is gonna pass through. And it made it to me, it made health care worse.
SPEAKER_06Well, we needed something because what happened was people are dying in Georgia where I was at because they didn't have any health care, they didn't have nothing they could afford, and people were dying. And I just think that there was something that was needed, and he gave us something because I wouldn't have had anything at that time if he didn't he if he didn't do it, I wouldn't have had it because they we had to come off at 26. I was I think 26 had to get off my parents' insurance. So if I had that, I would have and I I would have been in trouble because I was dealing with some stuff and I would have been in trouble, and people are like me, it's worse than me, would be in trouble. So like it was something that was needed, and honestly, it helped during that time, and he was able to put me through tech school for free. Like I, because of Obama, I was able to go to Pacific Institute of Technology and and level up at 26, 27 years old. And if he had not done that, I would I don't know where I would be. Like he he helped the he helped out with a lot of stuff. But you have to wanna you gotta want to do the work though, right? He can't go give you no million dollars because he can't give you a million dollars in charge of the money, goddamn Jerome in charge of the money and other people. He can't give you a million dollars, but he could put some programs in place and help you get to that million if you want to pay. And and and these are things that I've seen that were there, and a lot of people didn't want to do it and they want to get the trade because Obama said back then that trade was gonna be the ish, like get a HVAC train, get a point like that, and you're gonna have all this debt. And people they just weren't doing it. I started I was listening, I said, hey, you know, I need to do something, and that's you know, because my college college screwed me over when I was 18. So I was like, all right, well, I need something. And I I didn't know much. I knew I knew about music, but I knew I wanna I didn't want to do what when I saw in the music industry, I didn't want to end up being somebody's like I didn't want to be at somebody's mercy. I wanted to have my own money, you know, my own FU money. And that's what tech came in to give me that. Because people was getting on me on the music. You gotta focus on one thing, this and that. Like, I don't have any money, paper, studio time. I don't have like what I need. And when I was singing on a cruise boat, I couldn't live on no dang on boat. I thought I could not if I stay on the boat, I would have had the money to, you know, at twenty three I was on a cruise boat singing on the boat, I was on a carnival cruise, but I can't live, I it wasn't my thing. I didn't want to live on a boat, so I had to make a decision. And those are things I just don't know where I would be.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I'm just I just want to be clear about one thing. I was I'll say more like the health policy. No, the education policy Obama did great. I mean, this is where I go mixed out with the Democrats, because I think, yeah, it's kind of flawed, but it's something better than nothing, kind of. But the the healthcare thing, I think I think he could have done a bit more on on on the healthcare portion of it. But the education policies, I think it was a step in the right direction. Yeah, yeah. And I think every I think health care. Choice, you're on your own. That's all that's pretty much. Yeah, that's all I would get that if I didn't find corruption that's actually being exposed right now to the perfect union or perfect union, expose that corruption of that you know, that school choice thing. People spending money, you're gonna, I swear, check the source out. You're gonna think I'm making this up. People spend it on Disney trips. How's that educational?
SPEAKER_06Well, that's true.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I that that I've seen, yeah, that's just all the luxury shoes, boat cruises, or I mean, stuff that's illegal.
SPEAKER_06I mean, it it it's it's too much.
SPEAKER_04You know, and that's just things that there's no guardrails. You mentioned that before with something else, you know, about it's not there was no guardrails in it.
SPEAKER_06Like process and procedures don't just go with your job, it goes with everything in life. There's got to be process and procedures, and it's not put in place for some companies too, but it's not put in place with the, you know, with this way doing. So it's it's one thing that I think uh think that it needs to be worked on. Now, I like Bernie Sanders. I think Bernie says a lot of stuff, like he you might call a socialist. I believe in socialism. I think that it should be free health care. I totally agree with Bernie on that. But I think it should be some free education or at least minimize the time you need to be in school. Like I think, you know, one of my friends said in what country was it at? Not those countries. Austria, I think it was Austria, that they go to school for one year and then, you know, and they get their degree, and it's their real degree because they're studying the actual stuff you need to study, it's not geometry and random stuff. It's like, okay, if you want to get a degree in bartending or whatever it is, then you're studying that. And I think that, and that's why it's cheaper there. They can afford in Austria. So I just think that it needs to be that way here.
SPEAKER_04Like, this is and I money just to make those programs more sustainable and free too. And well, that means that you know that that's the thing that I say people got a very open-minded about, oh, I'm gonna get taxed enough. If you think it'd be taxed enough, go to your almost half the income is taxed. Um, and look, but thing is that tax is at least going to some schools, like schools and certain things that are free, and even health care because the government's getting you so much money, and that's what I've been saying. So, look, if you want to tax more, make sure it's not going to waste. I don't want to see a statue of Donald Trump's ugly ass in a JFK airport. That's a waste of taxes to me. I don't want that. I don't want if the taxes was going to improve schools, things like that, and improve health care, fine. I'll be like, okay, I'll be gulpically agree. But if I see positive impact, I'll eventually shut up and move on. I said, This is a good thing.
SPEAKER_06This is why I'm saying they're just taking our money, they're doing what they want to do, man. They just taking it. That's the problem. They're telling you one thing, just take it and do what they want to do. I mean, because it's not real.
SPEAKER_04You already said, well, I want to say the proper term, and feed money's fake ain't shit.
SPEAKER_06That's like a pyramid scheme. It's a pyramid scheme. So basically they're saying, okay, you gotta pay into these taxes. I'm paying into the taxes every month with my check. You're taking my money, Mike, you're taking my money, and then I still owe you, you know, unless you have a business, which you know, I don't owe because I have a business. But if I didn't, I'm screwed. I gotta pay. And the more money you make, you gotta pay. And so it's like, well, what the what does Sam heel when I'm already paying into it, especially if I have a W-2 and I'm paying into it? Or even if you are an entrepreneur and you're paying into it as you go, like, why do I still owe you? So that's what I'm saying. That's where the game comes. That's where shit don't make sense. So, but like I said, nobody will do nothing until everybody does something. Nothing will change to everybody.
SPEAKER_04That's why I gotta galvanized and focus on the big issues can bring it just about most people together. Yeah, you're right about that. So once we're sitting comfortable yelling at something, you react to social media, and getting distracted, all kinds of dumb stuff, and watching, you know, Taylor, Taylor Swift's stupid ass wedding in Master Square Garcia focuses on the right thing, then we will then we would be better off. But it's too many distractions. I mean, to your point.
SPEAKER_06It really is. A lot of people like the entertainment stuff. They like I said the podcasts that blow up are the entertainment ones. That's talking about, you know, Johnny knows and he's got his nose done, didn't he get his nose done? That's that will blow you up on nights. When anybody wants a podcast and you want to make money, that's what will blow you up. Talking about other people, you know, where you're talking about their nose and you know, whatever. I don't know. Just the gossip train.
SPEAKER_04Right, exactly. And um in AI memes, you know, that are making fun of people, whatever. Those those are the popular ones. You know, and I'm gonna I'm gonna give the right wing version of it the left wing version of it. The right wing, they make it fun of, you know, Elliot Page, the transgender star, and it would I'm not gonna lie, it's actually funny because it looks so epic. I used picking this big old rock, and by the time you zoom out, it's like a little midches, and then that little pebble just folds its own cereal, and if Giants just eat it, that's oh come on, that's so raw. But it's such a good AI. But for now, for the left, there's a lot of it making fun of Trump. It's not Trump like a baby, then Obama they carry for him as a baby, and then they got Lego video. He's like he he is a freaking child in a lot of ways. Oh, I want my name on everything, especially that ugly ass dollar coin that is on against no surprise for deadly great things. He's alive and he's just and he is historically horrible. So he fails criteria right there. So yeah, it's all about ego, it's all about force, legacy building, if you will. I know it's a generous term. There, well, he lost, and he's losing a lot in courts. This is it, and I know some people don't like the Supreme Court because the
Distraction Culture And AI Meme Politics
SPEAKER_04mainstream media only tells you the ones that they split in ideological lines, but there's a lot of times that Trump lost in the Supreme Court. Birthright citizenship is a big one. Supreme Court said dope. 14 million, they allow the birth as long as the birth happens in America. But it was tight, though.
SPEAKER_06It was a tight race, it was still tight, but yeah, it was too tight for my comfort. But yeah. Like one of the Supreme Court judges, she has a child from Africa or Haitian or Haiti kid. And it's like if that's the case, you gotta send your own little girl back. Yeah, I think Amy Coney Barrett, but she's like, I forgot her name.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Amy Coney Barrett. Yeah, she's a moderate, right?
SPEAKER_06And sometimes she still voted against her own kid, though. That's the thing. She voted against what are you doing?
SPEAKER_03You know what?
SPEAKER_04Well, you know what? There was enough rationale this time. I know rationale doesn't always prevail, but this time rationale did prevail. Not all the time, but it did on this one. You know, birthright.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I think there should be a term on the Supreme Court. There should be terms, sorry. I agree.
Supreme Court Term Limits And Stale Leadership
SPEAKER_06Fresh mind.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, and no offense. I don't want a 20-something year old. I don't mind like I would say mid-30s to yeah, mid-30s are exceptional, 40s, 50s, fine.
SPEAKER_06I'm I'm yeah, 50 is still young and 60s is good.
SPEAKER_04But if you ask me, but like 70 years, I know.
SPEAKER_06Because they're stuck in 1900s and we're over here. We're trying to be progressive, so we're trying to be progressive.
SPEAKER_04I agree. No, I that's just not just Supreme Court. I always extend that's the House representatives, the Senate.
SPEAKER_00All of them.
SPEAKER_04You know what I mean? Yeah, and then this is my idea, and I've said this to a couple of people. I said, if we're gonna do house limitations, it has to be six-term limit. Six has 12 years. And for the Senate, two-term limit, that's 12 years. So that's that's our world. Six term limits for the house representatives, because two years per term, and that makes you 12. And if the Senate is two terms, just like the president, and then they'll serve 12 years. That's it. You gotta go. You gotta go. Because people have been there forever, since horse carriages and all of that, and brick roads. We have people that's been there since that time, and this is why we're not progressing. We haven't policies that's like what at if you want to be nice, 1970-ish, and if you want to be cynical, it's like 1950s and even 1900s, where the laws are actually hurting us now because it's not up to date.
SPEAKER_06Yeah. It's hurting us, so I'm just like, you just gotta be up to date. If I if it doesn't, then I hope it does.
SPEAKER_04Well, I think some changes are rearing up, and I'm just gonna mention this very briefly. You know, there are more Democrats win seats, and that is a reality. New York, they can possibly win. They could easily win three seats because these are the and I say Democrat Socialists of America was smart. They picked three safe blue seats. So once they beat the moderate Democrat, they're guaranteed a win. Either they run a polls against a Republican that's gonna get 20 votes at best, 20% at best, or they just run on the polls and then there you go, then they just win a general election. Guaranteed guaranteed that they're gonna have three from New York. Yeah, you have a couple for California. I mean, no, they're they're rising up, they're rising up, and I and
Inflation Groceries And The Gig Squeeze
SPEAKER_04people ain't plenty and they tired.
SPEAKER_06There's something everything's up. You go get to a grocery store, get a few things, and it's like a hundred dollars. Like, I only got four or five things happening in my time. I mean, I know things go up progressively, like during my period of time, but still slowly it's slow, it came up like like bam, and they didn't go up or nothing. And I'm like, what the hell? The gas, I'm like, well, you can't even side hustle or nothing no more. Like you, you're you can't you can't you know I don't know if you've seen all the videos and all the door desk people saying they're not making money no more like they used to, all the people that's delivering stuff, it's all changed. You know, it used to be a little gravy side gig, but the gas is too high now. Yeah, and then also they're not paying enough. The the the companies pull I ain't gonna figure. And they changed their money because I mean, back in 2018, 2017, you can make pretty good side money with Amazon Flag or Dash.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, you're right. And this is why I don't agree with law people being involved. I hate when lawyer lawmakers get involved because they just make things worse. I don't care if it's Democrat or Republican, they just once they get involved, it's like, yep, you're gonna be screwed. I don't know how, but you're just gonna be screwed. I'm just gonna tell you that doesn't matter what the how nice their plan sounds, it's just me bashing just politicians in general, they're gonna make things worse and they're gonna favor the the company owners. All right, and then once it happens, that's it. And that's happened with Uber, just like you said, in the DoorDash and all that. Yeah, some just not make they make they make you squat, they make you jump change at best, which is horrible. There's no point in this. It is sad.
SPEAKER_06There's no point having a site.
SPEAKER_04I was just like, dang, but yeah, really, it's in it's insane. It's insane. Yeah, it's rough out here, people. Um, you know, and if you want Disney fairy tale, copium, talking points, it's not this podcast. If you're a real adult, this is a podcast week. I got some more no baby-minded people. This is not for the week.
SPEAKER_06I'm just too blunt. I'm I'm actually a I'm you know, older I get, the more verses when I was younger. It's like now I'm just kind of saying what I feel, you know, and just that's just how I'm gonna do it.
SPEAKER_04You know, you got time, you know, you got tired of trying to do things the nice way, the right way, and you're not getting anywhere. What's the point of following laws? I mean, you're not incentivizing that, and then the politicians act like crooks a lot of times, and then you expect us to behave, yeah. We get the consequences of just sadly and thinking crime is good, but don't be a damn hippos, you're not gonna fall. They were getting locked up for years.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, it's ridiculous. Like some people in jail too long for the old people.
SPEAKER_04The two-tier systems through the roof, so you know, you talk about the greed and all of that. I mean, yeah, I'm not gonna get deep to that, but I don't want you to forget about this because I want you to give some entrepreneurial
Entrepreneurship Without Hustle Culture Lies
SPEAKER_04advice. So, I mean, with the generalists versus uh specialists. Yeah, feel free to dive into that because I think we already got enough political, we got enough doom and gloom. I know, right?
SPEAKER_06So as far as as far as entrepreneurship, I do want to say, you know, that there are ways and opportunities for but there is a lot of stuff online to make you feel as like you you have to get there overnight, that you're gonna be a million overnight, and then you got people around you making you feel like if you're not there already, then you fail. I just want to say to someone that you do have to do the work. You have to be, if you don't want an investor, you know, taking half your money or whatever, you know, look up what happened to that whiskey cup. I forgot her name. Dang. But anyway, she they did a Steve Jobs on her and they took the thing on board, voted her off. And I really I really believe in her and stuff like that. So what I'm saying is that if you don't, if you want to still be the boss and own your stuff, or at least have majority share, then you're gonna have to, it's gonna take you longer, unless you got a rich uncle, or you just so you got a lot of energy. I don't know. But that's just what it is, and just don't give up. And then another thing is some people are generalists naturally, and then some people do have to just focus on one thing. So let's just say, you know, you're saying master, was it master of none and Jack of all trades, master of none? I think that you could be a master, I mean, uh good at a few things, and you can survive and put some food on your table and enjoy it because it just comes naturally to you. It's just your thing, that's just how you are. And then some people try to do it, and it's just not their thing. So I don't think we all have to be put in this box where okay, you gotta just focus on one thing because that's just what it is. That's just what you gotta do, because that's what I'm doing. You don't have to do that. You just have to think to yourself, is this the way I'm gonna put food on my table? Because this person's not gonna pay my bills on TV, they're not gonna come and feed my kids or my family or myself. So, what are you gonna do for you? And if it's being a generalist and you're doing several things or two or three things, and you're doing your side business and maybe doing another type of business on the other side, but you're doing anything, everything has a system in place going in a direction that's supposed to go in. It's just that you are not dumping in millions of dollars for it to blow up overnight. Like, for instance, a podcast can blow up faster if you're putting running ads every day. But if you don't have income to run ads every day, it ain't gonna blow up as fast as Tommy's podcast. So, unless it's you talk about something salacious and some drama, but if you're not, then that's just what it is. And and it's the same thing. So I just think that it's okay to be a generalist. I think it saved my life personally because I was told to just focus on one thing when I was like 20 years old, just focus on music, focus on music. And granted, I got better with music focusing on it for all those years since you know I was in middle school. But I when I hit 23, I realized that I needed money to invest in it. You know, I need to do something else too. So I sold things online, I've done certain things to to to to survive. I worked worked on a cruise boat. So if I didn't do those things where I'm at, you know, I wouldn't have my own studio now, my own little mini recording studio. I wouldn't have it because I wouldn't have been able to afford it working at just different odd jobs like that. So I think it's okay to to just to do two things and and also determine to decide your way of success. What success means to you, not what it looked like somebody else think it should mean to you. Like every singer don't want to be famous, and then every singer wants to be yep. He's a rapper from the south. And he just said that a lot of artists are hand chosen to either think you're talented or not. They're picked there's a timing, and a lot of times it's it's not not saying they're not, you know, talented like that, but it they it's about timing and they're picked the cabal, the who's who. And you're like, well, how does person get up here? Where's person comes from? And not saying they weren't doing stuff, but they they finally got chosen and picked out the damn sandwich lot, you know. That's just what it is. So it's it it just depends on what is your idea of success. Research everything that you're doing, and and just keep your head on the swivel and and you have to stay positive. And that's it. That's just what it is.
SPEAKER_07You know.
SPEAKER_04This is the viewers. I hope you were listening to that. I'm just gonna put on the more serious side now. There's some great advice. It's based on realism, not based on social media, you know, glam hustle culture that's been widespread. And no, she said it very well. I'm not gonna add anything to it because it is actually now one more topic.
Office Gossip Backstabbing And Survival Tactics
SPEAKER_04That this might be slightly more nah, might be salacious or not, but let's talk about gossiping, backstabbing the office, and Gen Z and the millennials are to blame. Yep, that's gonna be the final topic, and just to make it well, that's not lighthearted, but some people do get backstabbed, and you know, this is old office politics being revived, or if you want to use a more mild word, dormant, I would say, because you know it was all this virtual work, all this good stuff, but now people's back in office, they're just backstabbing. Is Gen C millennial the primary cause, or is he the older generation? What's your take?
SPEAKER_06No, I mean I still think it's a mix of both. I think I think it depends on the person. I think it's a mix of both, but I do think boomers and the Gen X that started it, and they're they're still sometimes a lot of boomers can be jealous of the younger people because they like oh, there's something they're missing, something that and so when you're talking about the workplace, you know, it could be they could be intimidated by the young person. Because the young person, you know, they want to research stuff, not all young people, but some young people they like to be curious, they're more well-rounded and know more stuff. And sometimes the boomers are like, Man, who that little young thing think he is, or who he's in, you know, and they try to like sabotage you and you're like, What's the Sam Hill? So you got that in the workplace. And here's one thing nobody's your friend in the workplace, okay? I mean, you you not saying you don't meet somebody. There's been situations where I might have met one or two people during my time where I'm like, who went outside of work, and we just became friends. It's very, very rare. And you just gotta keep stuff to yourself. Don't tell everybody everything you're doing, don't you tell them what you're doing on the weekend? Or if you do, just say you watch TV neutral, neutral stuff, or look at the game, you know. Neutral, don't say nothing like I went to the Alps and and hiked, and just don't say nothing that sounds expensive or anything like that, especially if you have a business on the side that's going well. Like, you gotta be careful. So those are things if they find out in their own people do will Google you, then you can't do anything about that. It is what it is. But if they you're not Googleable, you're good anyway. So, but don't tell them every don't tell them all your business. And then as far as then like friendships and stuff, shoot, backstabbing is born on every it ain't gent it ain't the millennials' fault and and Gen Z. We they talk and smack my talk about everybody all the time. Like who she thinks she going out here doing this, you know, she shouldn't be doing that, and why she doing that? And I like I hear stuff like that all the time from people, and I said they probably talk about me right when I walk away, but they're okay, I don't care. They're gonna talk rather than doing good or bad in their eyes, whatever for good or bad means them, or how I look, or whatever. I mean, they're gonna and so it's like it's going on, man. Gonna be backstabbed and mostly if you're aware, then you'll know if somebody you can feel it when somebody ain't real. But if you're not aware, then you just gotta wait till it hits you in the face or till something happens.
SPEAKER_04About street smart people, we're going back to that and use it in the workplace as well. Because you're right, co-workers does not mean they're your friends. Everybody got an agenda. Everyone, everyone's trying to make it to the top. So I'm gonna do by backstabbing. It's me. It did not start with Gen Z or millennials. And I first started, the average age was what, the 40 sometimes? That's already boomer in early Gen X. Trust me, they were the main drivers of gossip. This is when I just started working in my career, right? So, look, no generation is blameless. I mean, it's stupid to blame one generation over another, even though, of course, you know, let's just be real. You want to just put a blame at somebody, escape going, and this is all part of human nature, unfortunately. Gossip and all that's been going on ever since we're able to talk and tell stories, all right? It's been going on for a very, very long time. And you know, and these are these are the you know, simple, basic ways you could tell. Look, withhold important information, people just share only the negative information about that person, okay? These are the basic tips. I'm just grabbing it from this random Yahoo site. They set you up to fail by acting obtuse or stupid. But once because somebody else, oh, you see how they changed their tune and all that. That's another way, okay. This is this is using practical intelligence, street smarts, whatever word you want to use it, just to analyze people. Because you have to analyze people because you just want to just work on the computer, just stare at the screen all day. You go in politics, you sadly have to pay attention to power, not for you to be involved and all that, but just be aware how you can navigate. Okay, um, and I'm just gonna use Sequoia, for example. Sequoia's talking smack about me, so I'm definitely not gonna have her as a friend, you know, or you know, or miss Karen, let me use Karen, carrying the balls to sign with Sequoia, because you know, oh moving power, screw this man. You know, they they talk about this stuff. They're not gonna use the exact wording, but just use a coded word. Oh, you know, he he no good. They're not gonna say the man evil. Oh, he's just no good. You know, he's just yeah, he's just always he always talks always, he's always very opinionated. He's always you know, he always does his own thing. They're not giving specific examples to back the case, but they just give you the negative, then you know that person's no good. Things like that. You gotta know, you you gotta find just a few allies, a few, there's a few allies that knows what's willing to back you. If they share important information, just you know, bill report, things like that. Just make sure that they're sharing just just verified information because some people just sound like they're helping you, and then they're not oh, and I'm not gonna flip it to me. I want to be the bad one as examples. Oh, Sequoia, I can help all this juicy stuff with the night back steps, I tell Mr. Ken, the racist Mr. Ken, you don't use politically correct language. Oh, Sequoia hates you, you know, she wants to take down all the white people. I could just spread that kind of thing, and you're gonna end up hating her because I and you know, people do these kind of things to get on top. I mean, me, I want to personally answer her, but you know. Know that's just examples that people will do just uh on backside. I'm gonna act so night, and by the time it comes to me and Mr. Ken, I'm gonna talk all the good stuff, all the bad stuff about support, and then there you go. Now I'm ready, I'm ready to sabotaging at least some movement in her career. Um, you know, not all of it. All she can do is another company and then move on, and she gets thrown from there. Pretty much still, but you know, this is what this is what people do is they backstabbing and gossip, you know.
SPEAKER_06And it's a lot of that in the world. It could be with family members, it could be with anybody, man. I mean, you just gotta be able to move with stealth. Like you gotta pick up games. Like I I remember in my early 20s. Um, I had dated a guy, he used to always tell me don't walk into you know it's gonna roar, you know it's gonna attach. So I used to tell people the wrong people stuff. I knew I shouldn't have told them at the time. I was in my early 20s, I was learning myself, but don't tell people stuff that you know good. Well, they're gonna say something stupid that that you that you know they don't know nothing about. You know, if you are trying to be a doctor in your medical school, go ask the doctor. Go ask the doctor. Not saying you can't learn from you know Johnny at the pizza office, but there's certain things you still need to go to the person that's already there and ask them those questions to see what exactly that you need help with. And I've learned that. I had to learn that. And and so now I only go to the horse's head. I'm not gonna go on the phone, man, uh, this having me, you know. I mean, what would tell you I ain't gonna tell you about it, especially if I know you can't do nothing about it. What's the point of me complaining to you and you can't do nothing about it? Like, I I just don't do that no more. I used to in my 20s, but now I'm just like, yo. Ain't nothing to I mean, what you gonna feel better telling you? And a lot of time all you're gonna do is go tell somebody else and change up what I said, you know. I mean, so what's the point of me telling you?
SPEAKER_04Remember that game telephone, we story, and by the time it hits like the hundredth person, you change because you keep just altering, altering, altering, and human memory is not perfect either. So that's exactly what that is. And yeah, I I actually, you know, I you know, the 20s, you're gonna learn, you're gonna make some mistakes. That's okay. But keep doing the same mistakes. Either you choose to be stupid, mistakes is the problem, not just making mistakes the first time, maybe because you gotta try to execute certain things okay. You know, um Mrs. Blubba butt is not trustworthy. Uh but you know, and but yeah, Mrs. Karina is more trustworthy. Okay, she can help you and she can help you with the problem. Well, Blaba Butt, all she's gonna do is tell everybody her mom is as big as her butt. There you go, so blah blah blah. And then we're gonna say, yeah, she's just gonna gossip, and then everyone's gonna know about you. And then it's like, oh, oh, really? Sequoia's like that. That's a yes, uh really she's there.
SPEAKER_06I mean, people if you're if you really don't know, you know, have social cues and stuff, because you know, people are coming out with autism, like she has autism. She just came out said she was an autism spectrum and stuff like that. And there's some people, and you don't even have to have autism, but they just can't read it, read people. A surefire way is if they call on you and they're always talking about somebody else, uh, and you know, not in a good way. Like if they if they're telling you facts like Johnny did lose his house, okay, lost the house, but even though it still has your business. But I'm just saying that it's about Johnny all day and night, then that means they're talking about you, okay? And they telling everybody about your stuff. If you told them anything, maybe maybe you didn't tell them anything. If you didn't tell me anything, then you're good. But you still can't trust that person. So that's a surefire way for anybody to have the the the cues, don't can't pick that.
SPEAKER_04Yep, and this is a tip I'm gonna share. Especially if you know that person's a gossiper, you give that person fake news. No, fake news could be good for you. Make something up and see that if you see it spread like wildfire, don't you tell only one person, only one, one sucker that's gonna spread like wildfire. I don't know. Tell Mrs. Cam, tell you know, you know she's gonna gossip, you tell that fake news. It'll let and watch that spread. And if she can't even deny, she can't even deny because you only told that, you only told her that particular lie and see how that comes back to fire. Oh, you heard that? Oh, that you went on this, on this um what's something that's mild? Oh, that you went to church and all that. Ain't true, but that's just an example. Oh, express, oh, what did she do that to you? What kind of church that is? I think I'll accept someone like her. Spread that. Uh you know, Miss Kareem, you know, Miss Karen can't be trusted because she spread that lie. She's willing to spread that kind of news, imagine what she does to other people, and definitely and then you're definitely included. You're not most of the time, you're not gonna be that special.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, and then you don't want to hang out with a liar neither, because the you you said, like Dane Dash would say, you sound smart if someone's stupid. You're like to me, I can I know somebody is I can tell most people are lying. Like the story, they don't know how to add the story of Whoopi Goldberg said her mom told her. If you're gonna be a liar, be a good one.
SPEAKER_07And like, if you're gonna lie, it's make sure that the the strings tie up, make everything tie up because somebody that's smart like you. I mean, what are you talking about?
SPEAKER_06You just said this um last week that you can't even do, I don't have patience with patients. You don't know what's going on, you just a kid. But when you an adult, I don't got time.
SPEAKER_04This is my personal belief, and I do this for live strangers. You are a bullshitter until you are verified.
SPEAKER_03That's my simple belief.
SPEAKER_06Yo, I mean, that's just a fact.
SPEAKER_04I mean, I'm like Vegas got a lot of bullshitters, New York City got a crap ton of bullshitters. So I've been all over the place.
SPEAKER_06I've I've lived in Connecticut, I've lived in Atlanta, I lived in Virginia, I lived in Cali, I lived in Seattle, they're everywhere. You know, people be acting like it's just their state. No, they're in every state, in every country, my friend. Yeah, no, you're right.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, you're right. Because I don't know what to do.
SPEAKER_06You know, a lot of people was moving to Africa and stuff, and it's
Expat Reality Checks And YouTube Myths
SPEAKER_06that's a whole nother topic. But you know, I've always you know we probably have to have a third conversation you gotta come on my phone.
SPEAKER_05Yeah, that's like an expat. That's like an expat.
SPEAKER_06We're gonna talk about the expat situation on my we're gonna invite you on my show.
SPEAKER_04Um hypocritical justice. I'm gonna call that one that the rich can do much bigger crimes to get away with that. You know, I'm just writing it down eraser. I won't forget. I know how I know how I get sometimes.
SPEAKER_06I'm trying to start getting back up.
SPEAKER_04Even though I'm not qualified, I'm gonna be honest. I'm gonna be completely honest. I won't I am not the most qualified person to talk about the expat to tell you that dumb friends will have tried that and there's some a lot of them um regret it, and sadly I watch reality TV shows, so I have to use that as a source. You know, the 90-day fiance. Don't try it, people. That's what I'm gonna say. Just don't try it.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I still got finished 90 days after before the fiance. I gotta finish that show. But yeah, I mean, it's it's crazy. I've been watching them on YouTube. I watch them on YouTube because they make it sound so great. And that's another thing. Be careful what you watch on YouTube. Like, yes, they there's some good stuff they're saying, but always check for yourself. Go for yourself first. Don't just listen to people saying he went to Ghana and now he's the best, happiest he's ever been. Make sure Ghana's for you. Make sure you have money because there's no jobs for people out there like that. So you want to make sure that if you're not gonna teach, you have to have income. You you know, so you're still gonna have one foot. Sorry, most of them people have one foot in the US. They they're not done with the US because they have to have the U.S. money to survive. But anyway, that's another topic. We'll talk about that next time.
SPEAKER_04No, that's for sure. That's why, even though I'm traveling more, but I'm a cautious traveler. Because no, I do I agree, because you have the job and the money and the income, you know, you you know that. Look, most of the places are not paradise, okay? You love bashing America, attacking America. Trust me, America is flawed. I I I would agree. But you know, there's some I would say there's some good experiences you get from America too. I I I consider myself a tough lover of America. I'll call out America's bullshit. I love you, America, but I'll call out on your bullshit. Yeah, it's many things call you out. So that that's that's the way I frame myself as a tough lover critic of America. So I want you to feed America, I want you to do better than your than your slave pass, the bias pass. I want you to do better than that. And I think America has some potential, but we got to get rid of this bull crap and all this hypocrisy and talk, and we have to be honest. No overly demonized and no overly whitewashing either, because none of that is true. It the truth is normally complicated, it's convoluted. Facts is facts. Facts is fact, you know. Whatever happens, everything did happen. We can't just deny that, people. I know some of the far right.
SPEAKER_06Some very salacious and evil shit stuff happened during the time that I still learn about at my age that I didn't hear. Yeah, you know, all historical figures stuff.
SPEAKER_04Well, they have skeletons in the classic, even your so-called heroes. Just yeah, my personality.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that's what they said in um in uh Wakanda, really. You know, there's also don't be be careful not to pray to your bad ancestors. Like you don't you don't even know who your bad are, but you have to speak it. Hey, no bad ancestors, you know, but there's bad ancestors. So, and that's what Wakanda said in the movie. There's bad ancestors and there's good answers.
unknownYep.
SPEAKER_06I thought that was deep in Wakanda. That's a personal conduct. That was good.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, no, oh no, that that's a 10 out of 10 for me. Uh, yeah, you know, that's a piece, uh, Chad Web. Yeah, Chag Bozeman, yeah.
SPEAKER_06He had a good spirit.
SPEAKER_04You can tell you to sit down with him.
SPEAKER_06Yeah.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, Jaguin. Um, yeah, he's such a yeah, that it's he was gone too soon. Wait.
SPEAKER_06He was just a good life.
SPEAKER_04He was, I think, like 41, he died.
SPEAKER_06Like, wait, he was a baby.
SPEAKER_04Yeah.
SPEAKER_06That's cancer, man. That's another topic. But he was about then.
SPEAKER_04Oh, yeah, Chagwin Bozeman. Yep, that's uh, yep, that's yeah, such a yeah, you could tell you kind of tell people good spirit. I think another one who was still uh uh alive, I would say for the most part, is Keanu uh Keanu Reeves. I think it's another one.
SPEAKER_06Oh, he has a really good spirit. I could sit down with him and we could he's down to earth, like you can talk to him about anything. I can see that, and I would love to meet him before, you know.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you know, I'd like to meet him. And trust me, most of your heroes will disappoint. So just get ready for that.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, that's what J. Cole said in this song. Don't let your heroes become your what'd he said? Um, anyway, it was a good bar. I love J. Cole, man.
SPEAKER_04I'm gonna butcher it. I'm gonna do an idol worshiping, you know, your heroes or something.
SPEAKER_06Oh, yeah, yeah, because he said he didn't let Nas down because he the song was called I Can't Believe I Nas Down. He said, Don't you don't let your idols become your rivals because he looked up to a Nas so much, but Nas wasn't who he thought he was. Nas saying your music's not gone down and stuff. But J. Cole was good. You know, it was not maybe he was at a moment where he was scared or intimidated at that time. But but yeah, I thought that song was amazing.
SPEAKER_04Don't put
Idol Worship Neuroplasticity And Closing Advice
SPEAKER_04a human in the pedestal. That's the that's the message right there.
SPEAKER_06Don't do it.
SPEAKER_04Don't do it, don't do it. And you know, and yep, definitely for those of you who still got Trump on the pedestal, you need help.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, you need help.
SPEAKER_04Y'all being screwed left and right. I mean, y'all, y'all just being screwed left and right.
SPEAKER_06And you can make your mind believe anything. I've been studying neuroplasticity. Oh, we gotta talk about down the so we're gonna study neuroplasticity.
SPEAKER_04Oh, neuro, oh yeah, neuroplasticity. You can make your mind believe these. I'm I am listing these things down. Neuroplasticity. Yeah, there you go. Oh my idol worship, might as well put that in there.
SPEAKER_01Yeah, yeah.
SPEAKER_04You know, so this is you know, these are these are teasers. We're gonna wrap this up. These are the little teasers, y'all. Yeah, just for next time. Yeah, sprinkle, sprinkle. Look, we we got things to do. We busy it does this little sprinkle, little sprinkle, right? So, yes. Trust me, I'll never talk to her all day. I'm sure she liked talking for a long time, but we we all we got shit to do. We got real, we got life.
SPEAKER_03So let's wrap, let's wrap this up.
SPEAKER_04So it's been a great conversation, always. It's always been a great conversation, yes. You know, and I just love the constant changes. I can I can I can keep up that eye. I think I'm a little neurodivergent myself, so I I think because if I think an old thing, yeah, yeah, we flow together welly like, but we're gonna be talking a few times for a lot of it. You know, let's say if you don't like us kind of um too bad. Um, the serious stuff.
SPEAKER_06If you listen, you must like it.
SPEAKER_04Yep, you listen, you know, you you human-minded and good for you. You get a pad, you get a virtual pad in the back. I ain't gonna touch you, you ain't gonna meet too me. So there you go. You're not me too and me. Hell no. I'm very careful on that department. Um, shoot. Take just take down the powerful men, just use that, take down the powerful men, you know. That that part I agree with, you know, because they they've done a lot of wrong, you know, and you know who they are. I'm not gonna list their names because they've maybe been mentioned more than enough. So that's it. Alrighty then. So um I think I think we're gonna wrap it. So I'm again support her game, her gutsy love game. You know, and trust me, true love could survive the tough trials. If you're not ready for the game, you need to question your relationship.
SPEAKER_06Yes, and I did update the instructions, so you know, you know, I want to answer a question, you can always say pass or drink something or whatever you want to do. But this lane, you're protecting the life.
SPEAKER_04Okay, okay. Let me start.
SPEAKER_06There's wimps out there, so I was like, you wimps, you be a wimp all you want.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, yeah, okay. Lame, wind, weak asses, whatever. Yeah, but anyways, that's all I'm gonna say. I'm gonna call them out in support. Well, you know, yeah, it's very good, it's very different. If you're tired of the Taylor Swift or the stereotype or the BETs, I know a lot of people say BET's gone ghetto or the Drewski's and all that, even though I find him entertaining. I mean, he is definitely controversial, but I like it personally.
SPEAKER_07I like Drewski. I like Drewski's. I play down with him.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, you know, so you look, I I know Kiki Palmer was hating on him. I know that was pretty real because he's a big old bit. I saw I saw clips of the BET award. I mean, I was like, Oh, BET, they put people like this and be a host while she she kind of got a point, she's been in for a while, she knows how to handle TV and all of that. I like Kiki Palmer too. You know, I'm not against her either. But you know, I I think you know, but I think she did, she she does bring a vile criticism of BET just picking crazy people as hosts because they want to get that cloud and you know that. I mean, he drew ski is really popular, but you know, he's more of a social media star. Let's let's let's be real here.
SPEAKER_06I like his skids. He's he's inspiring me to do skids because I you know, I'm an old hoot.
SPEAKER_04So I I get, you know, rather you're seeing Drewski, which I think that's silly. I I I I like both, but I do get what Kiki Palmer was c was coming from.
SPEAKER_06I see what she's saying too.
SPEAKER_04Yeah, I I get it. And it's um, I don't know if you're gonna blame Drewski or whatever. That's that's a whole nother debate. They just pulled him, they you know, they just did they did kind of pull him out of nowhere. They kind of did. I I I I get that. Oh, I think it was entertaining, but I all I'll say is this, and a lot of people didn't warn him. Ice crew said you're gonna get canceled because the way he just kept going about I find it funny though, but you know, me, I mean, I don't care. If you push the envelope, if someone say is if they threaten him cancellation, you're doing something right, in my opinion.
SPEAKER_06That's right. Go ahead, keep going, Drewski. I'll keep supporting you skipping.
SPEAKER_04Anyways, I like I respect ice cream to some degree, but they're not at that moment. So you you're kind of supporting the the the the the I'm gonna quote you the cabal. So you kind of support the cabal with that thing. Yeah, so yeah, so we're supporting the the word I normally use is the system, the whatever, though, same shit, different name. Alrighty then. Let me just really wrap this up because I think we can go.
SPEAKER_06I do talk a lot about certain people. I do.
SPEAKER_04Anything else? This very gutsy question. Anything else you want to add before I really wrap this up?
SPEAKER_06Really check
Support Sequoia Rate The Show
SPEAKER_06out my song Whiskey. It's a very off-filter song, but it came out last year and whiskey song, whiskey brands. Please check it out. I'm being a little wussed of wuss, I ain't send it out to you yet, but I'm gonna be sending it to whiskey brands. So, yes, check out the whiskey. I produced it. It's all my all me, no help, you know, because they cost money, so I want to pay them. So plus, I need to learn, you know. Like what's his name said, uh, David Banner said you're a slave to what you don't know. So it's good to know some stuff, you know, help yourself.
SPEAKER_04That's deep. You're a slave and what you don't know. That's deep. I know we like to joke, have fun, and all that about oh, we really gained some value out of this podcast, really. Yeah, definitely, please. Go support, go support. I'll put all the links down in the description, you know, and yeah, just support it. She's a very great person. We gotta support real people that's just be authentic, not freight of show. They're different size, they're you know, they're different, you know, instead of just trying to act like everybody else, trying to act like another Ariana Grande, another Taylor Swift, another um what's a rapper who's big now? Oh man, it's I don't know I'm getting old. I can't keep up with the trends.
SPEAKER_06Well, I like the boochie's blowing up and uh I I don't know.
SPEAKER_04I kind of like her for the role. I used her for troll music to piss off my brother because he hates it. I like the anxiety. Yeah, yeah, I love the anxiety. That was good.
SPEAKER_06The original anxiety stuff, that guy, that's another story. God, see every time I talk to you, you keep me going. But the original, the original guy that's done anxiety left the music industry. He he didn't like it. The the original guy that did anxiety. I I found that out.
SPEAKER_04Oh, hold on, I'm writing that down. I'm writing this down.
SPEAKER_06Yeah, I gotta put his name up, but he left the industry, he left it, and he was that song blew up and then he just disappeared. He didn't want to have anything to do with the industry. He might have thought something we didn't want to see.
SPEAKER_04He probably saw the cabal secrets. Uh the spooked it spooked me. And I mean, that's what some people leave, you know. Some people overwhelmed, you know. I'm sure some are boring stories, you know, they get overwhelmed, they want to live a private life, all that good stuff. But that's not interesting, you know. We the the the cabal thing as far as saying something else going on, but hey, I'll probably never be big at this point. It's all you know, the the slime. You never know.
SPEAKER_06Look, what's big to you? What's you know, like what's big to you? They might think you're big, they might not like it, they might not, they might watch you. You never know. That's what's saying anytime you're online, you don't know who's listening to you never know who's listening.
SPEAKER_04Yep. Or watching.
SPEAKER_06You don't know who's listening or watching.
SPEAKER_04It's true. All right, let's wrap this up before the cabal gets more ideas. Yes. Alrighty. So just rank this podcast podcast, give it a if you give it a uh one or four stars, give a reason why, you know, give one reason or one thing needs to improve, or just give you a you know, if you give you a reasoning why it I can decipher it, decode the reason from there. Um if it's a five-star, give a reason why it is great. Not Elias is stupid or Elias is next coming to Jesus, that doesn't help. An empty insult or compliment doesn't help. I yeah, I reject empty compliments. Oh, this this show is great. That doesn't help. How the hell is great? Be more specific. Yeah, okay, so I could double down on that as of you know, or or what it needs to improve on. One complain about the lighting. You know, I blend in with the dark pretty easily if I don't put on the light. True. Okay, great. I did that. The sound wasn't as great. Great. I took care of that. You know, constructive criticism helps. I'm a grown ass man. I can say I'm both I have thick skin both figuratively and literally. So go right there. All right, so just give your opinion. And you know, trust me, people some of y'all call me names, I'll just ignore those. I was like, okay, that's nice. I've been called much worse. I've been called so much worse, and even to my face. So you little keyboard warriors are nothing to me. I think I just go to them, but that's okay. Engagement is gonna go up for the wrong reasons, that's fine. Engagement is engagement at this point, and then and then that's you know that, and just and again, we have multiple projects and stuff she's doing. All right, so now this is the true end. Whenever you listen to this podcast, you have a blessed day, afternoon, or night.
